Description
This is actually a remake of a gift I made for GalaxyGirl5 a while ago of her Marvel character Lexie and the Living Laser. I looked it and was so dissatisfied that I thought a remake was in order. Plus, Katie went through a lot last year, and she deserves something nice to happen to her for once.
I think I especially enhanced this picture by toying around with the layer "modes", which kind of opened up a new technique for me. I generally wanted to take a long time on this picture, and I wanted Arthur to express his warm emotion for Lexie through his light, which is almost what love feels like to me. Lexie comes in contact with this light literally and symbolically.

Also, now that Disney bought Fox, I think there's a possibility that Blue Sky Studios and Pixar might be merged. Same thing with Walt Disney Animation Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation.
